Lab Assistant / Phlebotomy

Lab Assistants perform various tasks in the lab including phlebotomy under the supervision of pathologists, medical laboratory technologists or clinical laboratory scientist.

Phlebotomists perform procedures that involve removing blood from a patient for lab work.

Medical Assistant

A Medical Assistant performs administrative and certain clinical duties under the direction of a physician.

Certified Nurse Assistant

A Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) is responsible for assisting patients with daily task and provides basic nursing services under the supervision of a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), or a Registered Nurse (RN). They serve as a conduit between patients, nurses and doctors. CNA’s record as well as communicate all issues to the medical staff.

Depending on where a CNA works, other duties might include transporting patients to operating rooms or treatment units and setting up equipment at a nurse or doctor’s request.
